At fpcw, we believe music glorifies God and is an integral part of worship. We offer musical opportunities for involvement at any age and skill level. Regular groups include:
SINGERS AND RINGERS:
An after school program of vocal and bell choirs followed by a family dinner completed its second year. We have approximately 25 youth participants in grades 1-8.
THE CHANCEL CHOIR:
A vocal choir for high school students and adults, continues to provide music for Sunday worship as well as special services. We present a wide variety of musical styles representing the diversity of our own congregation and the broader church/world.
THE CHANCEL BELL CHOIR:
A bell choir for high school students and adults, meets weekly and rings approximately six times a year in Sunday worship and special services. We rehearse a set of pieces for about six to eight weeks before offering them in worship, which allows different people to be with us throughout the program year. This makes it possible and quite easy to join for a short term.
