To explore the question that is at the heart of our life together, fpcw engaged its members in an extensive discernment process that established priorities for our future. To act on the ambitions expressed through this process, the church has enthusiastically launched a new campaign: Affirming Our Faith. . . Assuring Our Future. This campaign seeks to achieve three goals:
• eliminate the Church’s debt
• enable fellowship space improvements
• enhance programs that serve our youth, who represent the future of fpcw.
fpcw’s new Campaign will Affirm Our Faith in God at work in the fellowship, faithful mission and beloved intergenerational ministries that make fpcw so special.
fpcw’s new Campaign will Assure Our Future by securing our financial foundation, while investing in fellowship and the faith formation of future generations.
Affirming Our Faith. . . Assuring Our Future, is our response to God’s call. Please give prayerful consideration to making a sacrificial and transformational gift that will strengthen our growing church. . . for today and for tomorrow.

Affirming Our Faith
The Building on Our Legacy campaign represented a dramatic step forward in making fpcw a more welcoming, accessible and giving church. The Affirming Our Faith. . . Assuring Our Future campaign is the next logical and important step in the growth of fpcw.
In accordance with the overwhelming sentiments expressed in the discernment process, the new campaign’s first priority will be to eliminate fpcw’s debt of approximately $600,000.
• This tangible commitment to good stewardship will enable fpcw to devote its entire annual budget to ministry, mission and ongoing church operations.
• Only after the debt has been retired will additional capital raised be committed to the broadly-supported priorities of upgrading fellowship spaces ($300,000) and enhancing our youth ministries ($600,000.)
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain.”

Assuring Our Future
fpcw’s priorities are focused on the future of our expanding congregation. Week after week, day after day, the Wallace Moore Fellowship Center is used far more than any other room in the church. To better support fellowship and other activities, our membership has expressed the ambition to make this space more attractive, welcoming and versatile. The Campaign’s facility design committee will oversee professional design to:
• renovate the outdated kitchen
• improve the attractiveness and utility of Wallace Moore Fellowship Center
• enhance the lower level entrance area to express more gracious hospitality
Total need: $300,000
Our congregation recognizes that the faith formation of our youth is vital to assuring our future as a church. We seek to invest in:
• a comprehensive youth ministry of worship, fellowship, service and spiritual growth for grades seven through 12.
• creating a network to keep graduates connected to the church
Total need: $600,000
Investing in our financial foundation, enhanced fellowship and the spiritual development of future generations not only reflects our congregation’s priorities. . . it reflects a thoughtful, prayerful and generous expression of faith and confidence in the future.
